About New Rise

We are a church established on biblical principles, which is mandated to awaken, illuminate, and teach the world about the gospel of the Kingdom of God, the culture of rebounding, self-belief, and living a victorious life. We are a safe place for the broken and hopeless.

We desire to see people mature as disciples of Jesus Christ who love Him and obey His commands as they worship, walk with, and work for Christ (our Three Ws of Discipleship). Together, we are united around four pillars that serve as our ministry values: Unapologetic Preaching, Unashamed Worship, Unceasing Prayer, and Unafraid Witness.

How we plan to fulfill our vision

Focusing on meeting people, meeting needs, meeting Christ. ( “Whole” gospel).

Embracing our God given mandate of reaching the lost and bringing deliverance to the broken.

Fostering the spirit of excellence, integrity and love in our churches, communities, nation, and the entire world.

Training, equipping, mentoring and empowering leaders in their respective God given purpose/Calling.

Being faithful Stewarts and conduits of His love and calling in the world.

Working alongside and in conjunction with other churches around us as we all labor in winning the world for Christ and to establish His Kingdom.

Holding annual general “Arise” conferences geared towards ministry inventory, reflection, repentance, realignment and renewal.

Reflecting the light of the gospel to the ends of the world through living holy and exemplary lives.

Being part and parcel of our community by engaging in social and developmental activities as God enables us. This would include but not limited to; Free car washes, cookouts for the public at the Church, engaging in sports, fun days for children, assembling volunteers to support, train and mentor the community in regarding to career guidance, life coaching, biblical economics, finances, entrepreneurship, family etc.

New Rise Declaration

I choose today, to make the rest of my life the best of my life. I am committed to learn, and grow from my setbacks. I put my best foot forward, to become the best version of myself. I have decided to follow the footsteps of Jesus. It’s a new day, it’s a new season, it’s a new me. I am arising, and shining in Jesus’ name. Amen

Our Fundamentals

Our “Statement of Fundamental Truths” contains the 26 doctrines of the New Rise Ministries. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all New Rise Ministries churches must adhere to, and Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered cardinal doctrines which are essential to the church’s core mission of reaching the world for Christ.

Leadership

Pastor Danny, who is the lead pastor, and Rosemary, his wife, are the vision bearers and founders of New Rise Ministries Kampala, which was started in 2020.
